About the role
Queen Mary University of London Doctoral College is seeking to recruit an exceptional researcher development professional to lead the coordination and delivery of a comprehensive programme of researcher development for postgraduate research students (PGRs). The role will be involved in the coordination and delivery of training and development opportunities for PGRs across Queen Mary University of London.
About you
You will have exceptional organisational skills and extensive experience working with researchers collaboratively to design and deliver excellent training and development programmes for postgraduate researchers. As the role will be initially focussed on the coordination of existing researcher development activities across the university the ability to engage and influence multiple stakeholders is key. You will also have experience of developing and commissioning training to support departmental and existing training. You will have an up to date understanding of researcher development and best practice within the sector as well as an understanding of how good researcher development can support excellent research careers. You will be confident in understanding feedback and advising on best practice and policy in PGR training and development.
About the Doctoral College
The Doctoral College within the Research Directorate at QMUL. The Doctoral College holds responsibility for the lifecycle of postgraduate research degrees within Queen Mary. Following a period of development this post is key to ensuring that the Doctoral College provides a central and comprehensive support service to PGRs whilst at QM.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is a full time permanent appointment. The starting salary will be Grade 6, in the range of £51,048 - £56,912 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
