The role
The role will support the Faculty’s income generation activity by assisting academics and other Faculty staff in developing and maintaining links with faculties and units, universities, funders and various industry sectors primarily for research, scholarship and consultancy purposes. The role will explore opportunities and identify gaps which could be developed to improve Faculty Research, Enterprise and Scholarship activity and income.
This role will provide first class account management for research, scholarship, teaching and consultancy funding activity, including initial applications and pre and post-award administration encompassing activities from across the Faculty, predominantly working with academics involved in the Open University’s Centre for Police Research and Learning.
The role will also provide support with the Research Excellence Framework assessment, with a particular focus on the development and enhancement of the Faculty’s research impact, including assisting with the identification and development of Impact Case Studies to be submitted to the REF.
