We have an impressive range of world-class sport and fitness facilities spread over three locations. But we need an outstanding manager to provide direction and inspirational leadership to over 20 staff in the Operations team that ensure the smooth delivery of sports services and facilities.
To contribute to the strategic management and development of the department, including a significant input into the planning of improved facilities and services and overseeing the health and Safety compliance.
You will be ambitious and passionate about the impact sport can have on young adults and driven to improve the fitness and sporting opportunities for our students and staff.
You draw on your extensive experience of working in leisure operations to manage a large and diverse team assured in creating an inclusive environment in busy sports facility. An all-rounder with strong leadership and excellent communication skills.
You are a team player and get stuck in, the role is hands on which will require you to be on site as much as possible. You must be conscientious and adaptable and have a flexible approach to work and should be available to work evenings and weekends where necessary
You will be a collaborator maximising opportunity through partnerships, an organised, innovative problem-solver that can deal with a number of projects and tasks running concurrently, achieving objectives and meeting deadlines.
