About the Role
We are seeking two highly enthusiastic healthcare professionals to join our dynamic and innovative Physician Associate faculty. One of the posts will lead year 1 assessment of the PA programme. You will lead a module and deliver teaching across the programme. You will also assist with student support duties.
About You
You are a healthcare professional with a relevant degree. You have an interest in medical education and have previous experience of teaching and assessment. You will require strong communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
About the department
The Physician Associate department sits within the Institute for Health Sciences Education, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary, University of London. You will be joining a team of enthusiastic PA educators in the delivery of the Physician Associate studies MSc.

These posts are based primarily at Whitechapel Campus in London but would be expected to attend other sites as needed. The roles are part time (14 and 21 hours per week), permanent appointment, with an expected start date of June 2023. The starting salary will be the pre-2009 clinical lecturer scale, in the range of £51,025 - £61,042 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
NOTE: We will assume that any application received will be considered for either role unless otherwise indicated. Offers will be made on a merit basis with the highest placed candidate given preference of choice of role. Once agreed, the remaining role will be offered to the next best placed candidate.
