Do you have experience of working in an administrative and/or customer facing role within a professional environment? Are you able to work well and accurately under pressure, using initiative to prioritise and meet conflicting deadlines? If so, we have a 12-month fixed term, part time (17.5 hours) Research Coordinator opportunity within the Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS) that could be just right for you.
In this role you will work closely with KMMS researchers to establish research processes and procedures for the school which are aligned to the wider Division and University - the work will reflect the start-up nature of the School and will vary.
You will also carry out day-to-day pre- and post-award related tasks for all research activity within the School. Such activities may include promoting funding opportunities, research proposal development, tracking applications, arranging mock interviews for large-scale grants, liaising with funders and undertaking general administration such as meetings organisation and diary management.
