About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced analyst to join our Strategy, Planning and Performance team. Within this role you will support the delivery and development of our management information and business intelligence reporting systems. You will supporting different areas of the University through the collaborative creation of analysis to support management decision making.
You will be responsible for the provision of analytical insights and management information to a variety of internal and external customers and contribute to the University’s corporate reporting service, whilst taking a lead role in ensuring student data for internal and external data purposes is clean, clear and fit for purpose.
About youWith experience in a directly comparable role, you will have experience of working with large databases of quantitative information, alongside practical data manipulation and analysis in a work context. In addition, you will have experience in identifying and implementing practical solutions to administrative problems.
As a self-starter, you will have the motivation and ability to organise your own workload, with the capacity to progress a range of tasks and projects at one time. Influencing skills are key, working with senior members of staff working co-operatively and flexibly.
This role requires high levels of general IT skills, including experience with reporting tools such as Business Objects, Alteryx and Power BI, as well as good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
