As a Finance Directorate we have been through a period of transition and are looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to our structure to help deliver the University's vision, culture, and to be a member of the well-established Financial Management function.
We are seeking applicants who have experience of engaging with and providing decision support to non-Finance stakeholders. We are looking for an individual with excellent finance acumen, who has experience in preparing monthly management accounts, financial plans and quarterly forecasts. Someone with excellent financial modelling skills which will be combined with strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills. You will be able to identify solutions and have the presentation skills to enable a range of audiences to grasp the key financial issues.
Ideally, the individual will be able to demonstrate practical experience of pre- and post-award financial processes in regards with externally funded grants. However, your sector background is less important to us- your drive and ability to influence is more so.
This is an exciting time to join the University of Bradford, as we look to continue to grow our international reputation through outstanding applied research and constant innovation throughout all of our academic disciplines.
In return we offer:
We are a family-friendly University with an agile workforce and we offer flexible working arrangements.
