As a Research Communications Manager, you will be responsible for promoting research for one of our three Faculties, supporting the University’s vision to be a true force for public good.
We are currently seeking support for a Research Communications Manager for our Faculty of Social Sciences.
Role
Our communications help build a strong reputation for York’s research, by supporting academics to share their findings and insights to drive partnerships and collaborations, attract funding, and demonstrate the value of our research to society and the environment.
This is a new role reporting to the Head of Research Communications and is based within the University’s core Communications team, which also covers creative services, digital comms, media relations and events. Responsible for Faculty research priorities, you will design and deliver the Faculty research communications plan, aligned with our overarching research communications strategy and the Faculty’s strategy.
You will also lead best practice to provide timely and relevant advice to colleagues across the Faculty for effective, consistent and compelling research communications and engagement.
