**Do you want to join a team working towards ensuring the arrangement and administration of the University's insurance policies are carried out with success?**
The Insurance Section carries out these responsibilities, which provide indemnity for financial loss due to accidental loss or damage to property or legal liabilities to employees, students and members of the public.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and busy Insurance team. Working closely with the Head of Group Insurance Services and Insurance Advisor, you will play an important role in supporting the project co-ordination and efficient running of a risk review and subsequent ART (Alternative Risk Transfer) programme.
You will have the ability to plan and prioritise your workload to meet conflicting deadlines, good interpersonal skills and demonstrate an aptitude for project management.
This is an outward facing position playing a pivotal role to ensure smooth running of this project, establishing a baseline for ART for the protection of the University's tangible and intangible assets, ensuring risk compliance at an appropriate level to the University for insurance purposes.
Previous experience within insurance and/or public sector is not required but would be beneficial however, experience in administrative / project management tasks and using own initiative is essential.
You must be educated to 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths to Grade C, HND, HNC, level 4/5 vocational qualification or equivalent level of practical experience and an experienced user of Microsoft Office.
