The Division of Student & Campus Life (SCL) are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Recruitment Assistant with excellent communication and organisational skills.
The role holder will be the point of contact for recruitment related queries from SCL colleagues and as such will need to be able to communicate confidently with key stakeholders at all levels to ensure quality customer service at all times whilst demonstrating tact, sensitivity, diplomacy and confidentiality.
We are looking for someone who shares our passion for excellent customer service and who is a strong team player. You must have a positive, proactive approach to your work, show flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills.
You will have the ability to confidently use IT packages (such as Microsoft Office) and have experience dealing with customers.
You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you can demonstrate your ability to meet deadlines and provide excellent service whilst enabling you to work directly with different teams.
You will be able to demonstrate your high levels of attention to detail and accuracy and have experience in a data entry or administrative role. You will be adaptable and a good problem solver, actively looking for opportunities to improve our service for customers and our processes.
Don’t meet every single requirement? We encourage you to apply anyway as we know that a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace is not only a better place to work but also produces higher-quality solutions. If you are excited by the opportunities of this role, but your experience doesn’t align perfectly with every requirement, you should still apply; you may be just the right candidate.
The post is offered on a permanent basis. Hours are full time (36.25 hours per week) with a minimum of three days based on campus. Job share arrangements may be considered.
As a University employee, you will have an excellent choice of benefits and rewards, including access to fitness and health facilities, staff discounts and travel schemes, along with 26 days holiday allowance and an attractive pension scheme.
Our University is a supportive, inclusive, caring and positive community. We warmly welcome those of different cultures, ethnicities and beliefs – indeed this very diversity is vital to our success, it is fundamental to our values and enriches life on campus. We welcome applications from UK, Europe and from across the globe. For more information on the support we offer our international colleagues, see our Moving to Nottingham pages.
This position does not fulfil the UK Visas & Immigration sponsorship criteria for Skilled Worker, therefore we can only accept applications from candidates who already have the right to work in UK.
