Applicants should hold a doctorate in Media and Communication Studies and have previous teaching experience and knowledge of a broad range of media and communication studies, with a focus on digital media studies (including social media, content creation and advertising).
The successful candidate will teach across a range of contextual and theoretical subjects in this area, supervise projects, support the ongoing development of this provision, and may also be asked to assume organisational and administrative responsibilities at project, module and programme levels. The post-holder will also have opportunities to contribute to the Faculty’s research environment and will support student recruitment and public engagement activities.
