The Wessex Inspiration Network (WIN) is looking for a well organised and fully engaged HE Advisor to work in the greater Salisbury area, based at Sarum Academy.
In this role, the successful candidate will work with Sarum Academy and other WIN partner organisations in the Salisbury area. The post will facilitate, coordinate and deliver core elements of the WIN outreach programme for students in Year 10-13, and their key influencers. You will also focus on the development of activities and additional support to encourage progression to higher education for students from specific postcodes and target wards.
You will work alongside other HE Advisors as a member of the WIN team, which aims to increase progression to higher education in areas where fewer than average numbers of qualified young people continue on to further study.
The WIN is one of the Uni Connect consortia funded by the Office for Students (OfS) and covers Bath, North Somerset and Wiltshire.
This a fixed term post until the end of October 2023, with an extension of funding to be reviewed by the OfS for 23/24. This is a part time role working 29.2 hours per week (0.8FTE).
