About the role
The UCL Institute for Sustainable Resources (ISR) is recruiting a Lecturer (Teaching), who will contribute to our successful MSc in Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment. This MSc equips its students to understand the essential connections between energy, the environment, the economy and society. It enables them to become sustainability leaders and entrepreneurs in business, consultancy, policy-making and academia. The successful candidate will lead a module on advanced environmental economics. They will also supervise up to 6 dissertations, or alternatively may support the teaching in other economics-related modules. This is a part time appointment (0.2FTE) and is available from 01/10/2023. A job description and person specification can be accessed at the bottom of this page. About you
You will have extensive knowledge of environmental economics theories and methods, and a PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant field. You will also have experience of delivering postgraduate taught modules on this topic, and a track record of successful postgraduate research supervision (MSc and/or PhD).
