You’ll be helping students prepare for careers across the whole spectrum of businesses, organisations and start-ups, with focused routes for the Agribusiness and Food sectors. Your experience as an entrepreneur, or working in or supporting enterprises in the food sector, will be invaluable in this role. You will have a breadth of understanding of enterprise and business management and your skills and expertise will allow you to contribute to topic areas which may include:
You will develop the students’ business acumen, commerciality, their confidence and capability as managers, and also contribute to the ongoing development of teaching and learning resources. There will be a focus on sustainable business within this role, and where required we will support you to develop this and other skill-sets including those for teaching and learning.
You will be helping our students develop their understanding of how data and financial measures can be interpreted and used by managers to make sustainable business decisions. Your skills and expertise will allow you to contribute to topic areas which may include:
You will develop the students’ numerical confidence and ability to interpret data and information to create meaningful insights, and also contribute to the ongoing development of teaching and learning resources. There will be a healthy dose of sustainable business modelling within this role, and where required we will support you to develop this and other skill-sets including those for teaching and learning.
You will have an understanding of agribusiness across the breadth of the sector beyond farming and primary production to reflect the career trajectories of our graduates, and your depth of professional experience will give you credibility with our students and stakeholders. Your skills and expertise will allow you to contribute to topic areas which may include:
Harper Adams University is highly influential in the agri-sector and through your broad experience you will develop confident, capable agribusiness managers with a focus on sustainability, and also contribute to the ongoing development of teaching and learning resources.
