Cardiff Business School is looking to recruit a Director Of Policy and Practice to work within the Wales Centre for Public Policy that is located within the School. The successfully appointed post-holder will lead the Wales Centre for Public Policy’s innovation and engagement activities to synthesise and mobilise research evidence for Welsh Ministers and public service leaders.
This role is on the Teaching and Scholarship pathway, full time (35 hours per week) and offered on a fixed term basis agreed until 31 March 2028, remunerated on the appropriate point of the Senior Staff Pay Scale.
The role holder will report to the Dean of the Business School/Director of the Wales Centre for Public Policy.

Wales Centre for Public Policy
The Wales Centre for Public Policy works directly with leading academics to provide Welsh Government Ministers and public service leaders with high quality, independent evidence that helps them to tackle the key economic and social challenges facing Wales.
The Centre is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council and Welsh Government and is a member of the UK’s What Works network. It is at the leading edge of applied policy research on key societal challenges including decarbonisation and net-zero, poverty and inequality, and loneliness and social isolation.
