The University of Lincoln is an ambitious institution with high aspirations and a rapidly improving profile, that seeks to be a leading UK University. Our strategy is to combine outstanding research with research-engaged teaching and learning, and practice useful to the wider community.
The Lincoln International Business School (LIBS) is culturally diverse, internationally minded, and committed to providing an educational experience that enhances employability and enables people and businesses to create successful and responsible futures. Our Department of Management Online (DOM) and Online and Flexible Team is seeking a Lecturer to deliver degree and apprenticeship programmes, who will inspire our learners and assist in the holistic development of our highly experienced and professional student apprentice Managers, who come from a range of backgrounds, including the military, international and other work-based settings.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of Apprenticeships, with a subject specialism within operations management or data management/analytics. They will have strong organisational, leadership and development skills to manage and lead allocated modules. Specifically, capability to deliver the module Digital Communication and Technology within a Management Context would be advantageous.
Our programmes contain some element of working at a distance with some programmes delivered purely online, so you will be able to deliver excellent learning experiences through your use of technology, continuously developing your delivery of learning, and assessment. You will play an important role in the DOM digital literacy and growth strategies, and, through your current skills and knowledge, you will contribute to the expansion of its provision through delivery and development of corporate and professional programmes, degree apprenticeships and bespoke, flexible employer-led programmes.
We are looking for an individual who is dynamic, adaptable, and innovative, with excellent communication skills. Driven to achieve, with a ‘can do’ approach, they will be detail-focussed and able to deliver to deadlines.
In return, we offer exciting career opportunities with the chance to grow and develop to reach your full potential. We also offer a wide range of staff benefits, including a generous annual leave allowance of 35 days per year pro rata (plus an additional 14 bank holiday and concessionary days), progressive pay rates, access to discounts at popular stores and more. If you will need to relocate to Lincoln from within the UK or internationally for this opportunity, we understand how difficult this can be. We have dedicated support in place to make the process as simple for you as possible.
If you would like further information or an informal discussion about this exciting opportunity, please contact Amy Mumby at AMumby@lincoln.ac.uk.
