Job description
The Department of Physics are looking to recruit a Business Support Manager who will lead and manage delivery of services underpinning the business functions in the department which includes HR, finance, procurement, auditing, space, health and safety, business continuity, information and data management, and other general projects.
The Business Support Manager will help to shape and deliver on the mission and objectives of the faculty’s business function and the broader Business Support Network, providing direct support to the business team, function, other managers, and relevant stakeholders. To role model a culture of professionalism with a focus on providing responsive and timely customer service and to lead and enable others in role modelling those behaviours. Continuously developing and implementing best practice solutions with colleagues and lead on the promotion of new ideas for better and more effective and efficient delivery of services.
Principally located on the Strand Campus in the heart of central London, this is currently a hybrid role and the role holder will spend part of their working week on campus and part of the week working remotely.
