We have a full-time vacancy for a suitable candidate to join our Joint Research Management Office. This is a central office which supports all research undertaken in Queen Mary University of London and Bart’s Health NHS Trust.
The post holder will be a key member of the Post Award team working closely with the Assistant Post Award Managers and the Costing and Contracts officer responsible for a wide range of funded projects. The purpose of this role is to provide a professional service with respect to a range of financial and partnership management, including project and budget set-up, project staff and student appointment authorisation and compliance to funder and organisational terms and conditions. The post will report to the Post Award Managers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background. They must have excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills and demonstrate a strong team-work ethic. This role demands the holder to work on their own initiative and have the ability to manage several projects at once. Previous experience in a similar environment would be advantageous.
This vacancy is based at Department W, 81 Mile End Road and is available as a full-time permanent position. The starting salary will be Grade 4, in the range of £38,165 - £44,722 per annum inclusive of London Allowance.
