An exciting opportunity has arisen to form part of the University’s academic timetabling team of 12 staff, based within Academic Registry. The successful candidate will be responsible for all timetabling and student module choice delivery for students in their assigned School(s), and work collaboratively with other Loughborough University timetablers, academic Schools, Registry colleagues and key stakeholders.
Applicants should have timetabling or scheduling experience, ideally in the higher education sector. The job requires excellent communication skills and the ability to discuss and present the timetable to both technical and non-technical audiences. The successful candidate will be able to work well under pressure and within a team environment. We particularly welcome applications from BAME communities as we are actively seeking to make the Department more diverse.
Academic Registry, and the Timetabling Team in particular, make a vital contribution to the University’s continued success in the National Student Survey and the University is ranked in the top 10 of all major national league tables. We offer flexible working to colleagues where possible and understand the importance of a good work/life balance. The post will be mostly based on campus, but with some opportunities for home working, as business needs allow, in line with the University’s dynamic working arrangements. In addition to working for an employer of choice on our stunning East Midlands campus, we offer an excellent range of benefits to our employees and pride ourselves on being family friendly.
Informal enquiries should be made by email in the first instance to Charli Orridge, Timetabling Manager - C.Orridge@lboro.ac.uk.
