About the Role
This role is based within the Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre (QMLAC) in the School of Law. The Public Legal Education and Street Law Coordinator works under the Public Legal Education and Street Law Manager to co-ordinate and project manage a range of QMLAC Community Projects and assist in the day-to-day operation and running of the QMLAC.
About You
The Public Legal Education and Street Law Coordinator assists in the education and development of Law students engaging with the QMLAC (in particular the public legal education and Street Law work). Where necessary, the Public Legal Education and Street Law Coordinator will also assist the QMLAC Client Services Coordinator with the organization and running of client appointment evenings.
About the School/Department/Institute/Project
The QMLAC provides free legal advice to members of the public and undertakes public legal education projects in our local community (Street Law). Its two key aims are to enhance the education of our students, and promote access to justice in the community. The QMLAC has 10 members of staff. This role manages two members of staff (Coordinators) who in turn manage two QMLAC Client and Student Administrators. The QMLAC sits within the Department of Law at QMUL

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is full time, permanent appointment, with an expected start date of October 2023. The starting salary will be Grade 4, in the range of £38,165 - £44,722 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
