This is an exciting role for an enthusiastic and learner centred Tutor looking to take steps into Management. You will be required to plan, deliver and assess a work-based person centred employability curriculum, to learners on a Supported Internship, including underpinning knowledge and practical skills required, to enable learners to develop vocational competencies within the workplace based setting.
You will also be responsible for line managing a small group of Job Coaches. This role will also involve liaising with the SI Employment Officer and sometimes employers to ensure our students get the opportunity to access meaningful work placements. This is a role where you really do get to make a difference in ensuring a more inclusive society, but also changing the lives of young people with SEND and working collaboratively to close the disability employment gap.
You must be an experienced Tutor/Teacher and be inclusive in your approach, having a strong background in teaching SEND learners at all levels. You must be able to produce curriculum that is engaging, and be able to inspire students to want to be the very best version of themselves in and out of the workplace.
