This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the world’s leading specialist institutions, to be part of the team who implement of our student recruitment and widening participation activities to attract and recruit a diverse student population across our undergraduate and postgraduate pathways in line with current and evolving institutional objectives and targets.
Working to agreed strategic objectives and workplans, the role holder will facilitate pupil/student progress and in particular support the planning, delivery and evaluation of pre-GCSE attainment projects and teachers engagement in support of the Access & Participation Plan (APP) and future iterations of projects contained therein. The engagement with teachers will include developing and managing our Teachers Network, as well as providing advice/guidance and facilitating CPD event(s). Experience of successfully delivering raising attainment projects would be highly beneficial.
Another major responsibility in this role is to lead on the collection, evaluation, reporting and development of outreach and WP activities, designed to increase the applications and enrolment of WP students at the RVC, utilising CRM data and other data insights to evaluate success. Therefore, previous experience of evaluation and reporting is essential.
You must be extremely pro-active, organised, data-driven and have excellent communication skills. Just as importantly, you will have the commitment, imagination and drive to join a small close-knit team that are involved in a large range of activities across the institution.
The post holder will work at local, regional and national levels, is based at the RVC’s Camden Campus, but also involves regular work with staff and students at the RVC’s Hawkshead Campus, and activities off site at community, school and public events.
