We’re looking for a talented creative to join our team with experience of making digital storytelling content, especially video and photography. You’ll create standout work for our social media platforms, website and email communications that show people what we’re all about and bring our campaigns to life.
What you’ll be doing: You’ll use your skills make social media and online content that connects with young people from Generation Z - and even Generation Alpha - who are considering university as an option for their future. You’ll know how to use trends and innovative techniques to tell our brand story in unexpected ways with work that feels relatable as well as aspirational. Plus, you’ll have ideas for how to engage our mature students, alumni and other stakeholders. You’ll draw on your experience and portfolio of work that demonstrates your skills in a combination of short and longer form video storytelling, photography and written content.
How you’ll work: We work in a hybrid way and every week you’ll spend some of your time on campus for filming and content creation. For the rest of your time, you’ll be working independently from home where you’ll have access to all the hardware and software you need including the full Adobe Creative suites, an iPhone and laptop. You’ll be confident planning and leading your own content projects and enjoy getting out into our community to build relationships and find content ideas. You’ll also coach and advise colleagues across the university on how to make sure their work meets our high standards too as well as their objectives. Alongside that you’ll sometimes commission with agencies and freelancers to deliver multimedia projects. You’ll work under our Brand Communications and Content Manager with another Digital and Content Producer and our Digital Content Assistant.
