The Opportunity

This post represents an exciting opportunity in a new function, where we are looking for an ambitious individual to join a new team at Keele University. The role will uniquely work across Keele Institute for Innovation and Teaching Excellence (KIITE) and Student Futures (Careers, Global Opportunities and Placements) which forms part of the larger Directorate of Student Services & Success. 

The role will play an active part in the management and quality assurance of the development and understanding of experiential learning, career development, systems, with links to graduate skills. This will mean supporting, advising partnerships and discussions with senior leaders and peers across the institution to help the development and dissemination of university strategies. 

The role will manage resources, projects, facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration and embed actions into the curriculum to accommodate student development, experiential learning, measures of progress and appropriate platforms from a structural and innovation perspective. This will include supporting, advising and offering expertise to related practitioners to recommend changes, assist with curriculum design and develop resources, built through co-creation and partnerships. 

The role will play an active part in the management and quality assurance of the development & understanding of experiential learning, career development systems and their relationship to graduate skills. 

Experience of working on employability in the HEI sector through a careers lens, underpinned by a strong teaching and learning pedagogy is essential. An understanding and use of learning technologies applied in an experiential learning context is desirable.
