About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fixed-term Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Equine Science, with a specialist interest in Equine Behaviour, Welfare and Ethology, within the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Science at our Brackenhurst Campus. The successful candidate will teach in the Department of Animal and Equine Sciences, delivering undergraduate and postgraduate teaching on the Equine Science courses. The applicant sought for this post will be a strong equine scientist and highly motivated academic with an interest equine behaviour, welfare and ethology. You will be able to demonstrate a track record of excellence in teaching in higher education, ideally hold a higher education teaching qualification and/or be a fellow of the Higher Education Academy. You will have an emerging or established and proven track record of scholarly, research and/or practice activity that will complement the activity of the School and which you will use to inspire students in your area of expertise. You will also be capable of providing undergraduate and postgraduate research support and supervision.
