Are you a motivated and experienced business professional looking for a new challenge?
Do you have a passion for leading and developing teams, managing projects, and driving business growth?
If so, you might be the perfect candidate for the Business Manager role at the Liverpool Clinical Trials Centre, University of Liverpool.
Liverpool has a long tradition of hosting major clinical trials across the whole range of health care. The Liverpool Clinical Trials Centre (LCTC) provides the infrastructure for the planning, design, conduct and analysis of therapeutic and other clinical trials, spanning from first-in-human to large randomised trials and other high-quality designs, and led by Chief Investigators both in and outside of Liverpool. LCTC has a high volume of NIHR funded clinical trials in addition to trials funded by charitable or commercial entities.
We are looking for a Business Manager to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. You will be responsible for providing support to the LCTC Director and Operational Director, including making recommendations to them and the wider Senior Management Team about operational and administrative requirements.
You will assist the Senior Management Team to grow the LCTC portfolio, remain sustainable and deliver high quality research and will use effective communication strategies to maintain positive and productive relationships with internal and external collaborators.
You will act as an interface between the LCTC and other administrative departments on a wide range of issues and will have overall management of Health and Safety within LCTC including compliance with DSE and maintaining oversight of compliance with University of Liverpool and LCTC mandatory training.
You do not require extensive knowledge or experience of working within clinical trials and training will be provided to support you in the development of the role.
You will have a Degree (or equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience).
