Job summary
This is a fixed term maternity cover role (until 31 July 2024) within the newly established Strategic Programmes and Change Team at Imperial College, London. Imperial is global top-ten university with a world-class reputation in science, engineering, business, and medicine.
You will report and work closely with the Senior Manager Business Readiness and Change and the Business Change Trainers to plan, coordinate and manage the activities related to business readiness, education, and adoption across strategic programmes with a specific focus on facilitation, coaching and training.
Your focus is on people and cultural aspects of change and helping to improve the organisational agility to adapt and respond to changes as we progress our ambitious new strategy and help staff to embrace the change.
In this role you will support the success of a range of projects by creating training and adoption materials to support the user experience. You will also be a skilled coach and provide coaching to departmental teams and individuals to deliver change and operational improvements as part of the overall project plan.
We are looking for a forward thinker, with strong stakeholder management skills who has the drive and experience in delivering change in complex organisations.
Duties and responsibilities
You will design and facilitate team and cross-function improvement projects deploying a broad range of operational improvement methods through training, coaching and facilitation.
In this role, you will work with senior stakeholders across the business, you will lead business and user readiness activities, support stakeholders in adopting new changes and collaborating closely with the other team members.
You will work closely with project teams to ensure all staff, other users and stakeholders are ready to use, support, adopt and exploit new working practices, technology, operations from the initial release through to full implementation.
There will be ongoing collaboration with team members to ensure the consistent use of change and improvement tools and techniques.
