This exciting project establishes new additive manufacturing and analytical capabilities at the University's City Campus dedicated to delivering 45 discrete Research Projects to West Yorkshire based SMEs starting in October 2023. They are targeted at utilising the existing and newly invested infrastructure alongside established academic expertise from the Faculties of Life Sciences and Engineering and Informatics to help SME with innovation in their processes and product development.
As part of the programme, the University of Bradford is seeking to recruit 2 roles for the duration of the project; (i) a Business Development Manager and (ii) a technician working closely with one another and existing staff at the UoB who will also be working on the project.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for establishing and building client relationships with potential SME beneficiaries of Project SIBLING. They will develop a commercial strategy for the Project and develop leads and new SME interactions into tangible project outputs under the guidance of the UoB Commercial Manager.
