This is an exciting opportunity to work with internationally recognised researchers to conduct a randomized control trial of Intensive Interaction for children and young people with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD).
The successful candidate will be responsible for working with Professor Clegg and the research study team to deliver a randomized controlled trial to evaluate the effectiveness of Intensive Interaction for children and young people with PMLD.
The post involves designing and delivering training in Intensive Interaction to professionals, practitioners and family carers of children and young people with PMLD, supervising trainees in their delivery of Intensive Interaction, engaging with public and patients to facilitate their involvement in the research and other aspects of the research such as collecting, inputting and analysing data and contributing to the dissemination of the research.
