We are looking for an experienced and motivated Service manager to join the Technology Enhanced Learning team to provide operational service management, support and expert technical advice on using learning technologies (including the University’s centrally supported services, such as Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs)), online assessment tools, feedback and communications platforms.

This role is Grade 7 and offers a salary of £37,099 – £44,263 and has a hybrid-working pattern. We are looking for someone to work full-time (35hrs per week).

We have an opportunity to join a forward-thinking and dynamic team that delivers effective Learning Technology services for staff and students across the University of Edinburgh.
You will have a key role in managing a portfolio of Learning Technology services in the Digital Learning Applications and Media (DLAM) team to ensure high quality services are delivered to our community of staff and students. As an experienced Service manager with a knowledge of Learning Technologies including awareness of processes from assessments to synchronous and asynchronous learning environments, you will be responsible for managing services including user communication, user group management, change management and supplier management.
