The Health & Safety (H&S) Department provide strategic and operational support to the University on all H&S issues.
We are looking for experienced Health & Safety Advisors to provide competent, practical, pragmatic health and safety advice and support to an organisation with a diverse range of hazards.
The candidate will develop and implement robust health & safety policy and processes, drive high standards of performance, and embed monitoring and reporting mechanisms aligned to the principles of Plan, Do, Check, Act. Advisors support the development and implementation of university-wide safety strategy and policy.

Candidates should hold relevant and broad ranging H&S certificates commensurate with the role and possess or be working towards NEBOSH Health & Safety Diploma qualification. Experience of health and safety management in a higher education, research, or other large and complex organisation is desirable.

This is a permanent, full-time role (36.25 hours) across 5 days (Monday-Friday). Job share arrangements may be considered.
