The Warwick Institute for Translational Medicine (Warwick ITM) is a newly created lighthouse for national and international innovation, impact, translation and training within WMS, building capacity across the University and our region through a portfolio of complex collaborative research projects and education programmes. Working closely with our NHS and wider Health and Social Care partners and industry, the Warwick ITM will build a financially sustainable ecosystem creating the connections and providing the support to drive tangible patient and population benefit from the work of our innovative research and clinical community.
The translational research manager (health) will provide focused support in identifying and delivering the translational goals of our academics and clinicians, furthering the WMS research and education agenda. This will include building relationships with key industrial partners, bid development, translational roadmap creation, and project management support.
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
