We are now looking for an Executive Head of Agent Partnerships, Recruitment and Admissions to join our team on a full time, permanent basis, working 37 hours per week.

THE ROLE

The Executive Head of Agent Partnerships, Recruitment and Admissions will be responsible for the development of an integrated sustainable framework for agent-led student recruitment while working hand in hand with the Executive Head of International compliance to ensure UWTSD’s remains fully compliant and other Regulatory Body policies and procedures. The post will provide operational leadership of agent-led Home and International admissions across the University.

The post holder will be working closely with the Head of International Business Development and the Executive Head of Visa Services and Compliance in delivering the University’s recruitment strategies, with a particular focus on the management and performance of agent-led recruitment. The postholder will develop strong relationships with agents and will be responsible for ensuring that agents remain compliant and perform in line with the University’s expectations.

At an operational level, the post holder will be responsible for establishing and developing a high-performing applicant orientated team who can deliver a seamless high-quality, efficient, and transparent admissions process for prospective students from first contact through to enrolment. To support this, the postholder will develop data-driven approaches to monitoring and assessment of the applicant journey, seeking to establish a culture of continuous improvement.

ABOUT YOU

To be considered as an Executive Head of Agent Partnerships, Recruitment and Admissions, you will need:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable leadership and management experience, including the management of complex team structures across multiple locations.
  • Significant experience in the development, implementation and delivery of a student recruitment/admissions strategy via Recruitment Agents.
  • Significant experience of managing external student recruitment agencies.
  • Current knowledge of key sector regulations and processes including SLC/SFE and CMA.
  • Evidence of the ability to manage and lead other colleagues by example and develop a team culture with a shared vision and common purpose.
  • Demonstrable experience of the ability to negotiate and achieve set objectives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and sustain excellent collaborative working relationships.
  • Demonstrable experience of working across internal departments/units.
  • Demonstrable experience in monitoring, evaluating, and continually improving systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven IT Skills with experience of student records systems.

It would also be beneficial if you have: 

  • A postgraduate degree level qualification or equivalent in International education
  • Ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh – oral and written.
