Are you an experienced Communications Manager looking for a new challenge? Would you relish supporting excellent research projects that contribute to a better world?

The GI ACE programme team are delighted to recruit to this new, exciting role, that will drive forward the programme’s communication and advocacy plans.

As Communications Manager, you will work with the GI ACE team to effectively promote an ambitious cohort of research grants across three themes:

  1. Global finance and the enablers of corruption;
  2. Crisis responses and corruption in vulnerable sectors; and,
  3. Corruption risks in global trade and commerce.

You will support the continued development and implementation of the GI ACE Communications and Advocacy Strategy, produce content for our communications across various channels, plan conferences and events, and facilitate engagement with key stakeholders, including GI ACE grantees, other partner programmes and policy makers. The post covers a variety of tasks in an exciting and fast-moving environment, providing opportunity to develop skills across a range of areas.

In addition to joining GI ACE you will benefit from a welcoming and friendly team atmosphere, working with academic and professional services colleagues in the School of Law, Politics and Sociology, the Centre for the Study of Corruption, and the wider Sussex community.

This is a hybrid role, with time being worked on campus to be agreed.

Interviews are likely to be held in mid-April.
