Do you want to work with academics on cutting edge research and consultancy projects with multiple internal and external partners?
We are looking for an R&I Delivery Officer to join the Research & Innovation Directorate to provide post-award project support for research activity at the university.
This is an exciting time to join Manchester Met. We are one of the top modern universities for research quality, and 90% of our research impact is rated as world-leading or internationally excellent.
The Role
We are looking for a confident and proactive candidate who will be responsible for the post-award financial management of a wide range of research and consultancy projects across the University.
This is a key role within the Directorate at a central level, and you will be expected to develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of funders' operational and financial reporting procedures.
About you
This exciting opportunity will suit a proactive candidate with good organisational and analytical skills with a proven track record of managing project finances.
Ideally you will have a good understanding of the UK research funding landscape and knowledge of the operational activities that support delivery of successful projects.
We welcome transferable skills and are looking for a fast learner, with excellent people skills and the ability to prioritise workload to provide a professional service.

Hybrid working is offered for this role, where you will be able to work a proportion of time on campus and a proportion remotely. You will also get access to a wellbeing platform, retail discounts, a cycle to work scheme, plus many more rewards and benefits.
