An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Faculty of Health & Life Sciences!

Home to four Schools – Leicester School of Allied Health Sciences, Applied Social Sciences, Leicester School of Nursing and Midwifery, and the Leicester School of Pharmacy – the faculty educates and develops professionals who make a significant difference to lives, health, wellbeing, communities and society. The faculty has dedicated facilities that are designed to replicate current practice and feature industry standard equipment, enabling staff and students to undertake life-changing projects to improve health and social care.

Role

Reporting to the Faculty Operations Manager, you will play a key role in undertaking project work to support the faculty’s strategic and operational objectives. Projects will be wide ranging & varied such as, working with cross faculty colleagues on initiatives to improve the student experience, working with estates colleagues on major & minor building works and leading on key faculty & corporate events/activities. You will also lead, manage and coordinate the duties of a small team.

Ideal Candidate

Educated to degree level (or experiential equivalent), this role would suit a motivated self-starter with experience of change management, line management or project management. You will have strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
