The University of Cambridge is looking to fill a new role of Project Manager as part of its Finance Transformation Programme (FTP). Through the programme, Finance will deliver clearer information and insight, enabling institutions to make informed strategic decisions and align finance to modern best practice. It will implement new systems, introduce new tools, and redefine ways of working that will enable staff to deliver excellent financial services in support of our academic mission.
This role would suit someone with project management experience who would like to develop their skills within a disciplined programme framework. It offers a great opportunity to get involved in and learn from a high profile and wide impact programme that has been identified as one of the University of Cambridge's top priorities for the next few years.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the role will be responsible for management of one or more high profile projects, working flexibly to lead on project management, planning, resourcing, scheduling, risk management, and implementation. It will support the Senior Project Manager in effectively managing relationships with stakeholders, governance bodies and consultants and will be key to creating and maintaining focus, enthusiasm, and momentum on a portfolio of projects.
