As the UK's second largest funder of palliative and end-of-life care research, Marie Curie is dedicated to bridging research gaps in this critical field by supporting evidence production to elevate palliative and end-of-life care.

We are seeking candidates with extensive experience in leading pre- and post-award research management at a national level and with a robust background in measuring and reporting research outputs, outcomes, and routes to impact for research. We value highly motivated, enthusiastic individuals with exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail, along with a proven ability to cultivate strong relationships with research stakeholders.

Our Research Management Team plays a pivotal role in shaping strategic direction, allocating and monitoring research projects, and supporting researchers to maximise the impact of their research. Our priorities are shaped by the perspectives of patients, carers, and healthcare professionals, ensuring that research findings inform policy and practice improvements.

As a key senior member of the Research Management Team, you will be tasked with managing a small team overseeing all external research grants. This involves comprehensive monitoring of projects through annual and final reports, statements of expenditure, and Researchfish submissions. You will also be instrumental in fostering relationships with research teams to ensure that the impact on policy and practice is considered from the inception of projects and link researchers with internal teams at Marie Curie, including instance Policy and Caring Services teams.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to Marie Curie's mission of improving end-of-life care through research. If you possess the passion, skills, and experience we seek, we encourage you to apply.
