The UK Recruitment Team
The UK Recruitment Team is dedicated to delivering an ambitious new approach to targeting the undergraduate and postgraduate home markets. We deliver innovative student recruitment activities (off campus) and focus on securing the long-term applicant pipeline through developing sustainable relationships with schools, colleges and partners.
The post holders will plan and deliver activities both on and off-campus using their knowledge and experience at The University of Sheffield to engage and recruit qualified students. This will include delivering presentations and workshops to schools and colleges, virtual events, website content creation, contributing to our social media presence as well as representing the University at UCAS events, HE fairs and postgraduate events. Post holders can expect to gain a wide range of transferable skills and experience across student recruitment, marketing and events to help them stand out in the increasingly competitive graduate jobs market.
To broaden the development and experience of successful candidates there will be opportunities to support other recruitment activities on campus such as open days and applicant days and work with our student ambassadors, assisting with their training and deployment.
An overview of some of the work that these roles will support can be found in this video and on the team’s virtual schools hub pages.
These are fixed term 1 year internship positions. It’s planned for these roles to start in July 2024.
