Role Details

We are searching for talented and creative individuals to join our academic team. Successful candidates will work across a range of finance modules within the programmes from Level 4 – Level 7, dependent upon the requirements of the programme.

We are looking for lecturers who have experience in learning, teaching and assessment in the HE sector, with a proven industry background and experience in one or more areas suitable to the areas of Financial Management, Financial Analysis, Investments Analysis, Quantitative Finance. Successful candidates will join a well-established team of academics in the subject area of Business, Finance, and Entrepreneurship and they will have the opportunity to make a valuable contribution to the development of the discipline(s) within the University.

Skills and experience required:

  • Masters degree plus experience, CFA, ACCA, CIMA, Doctorate (desirable).
  • Knowledge and experience of teaching in applying innovation in teaching in Higher Education environment across subjects relating to:- Finance with Excel2; Financial Management; Accounting and Finance; Investment Analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent collaborative skills
  • Strong Interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Excellent ability to meet deadlines and deliver in a demanding academic excellence environment
