Our culture empowers people to achieve this aim and to collectively, and individually, make a real difference.

The role

Approximately 1 in 100 people have coeliac disease, an autoimmune condition that requires strict adherence to a lifelong gluten-free diet. We are seeking a post-doctoral researcher to join our NIHR-funded project. The primary aim is to develop an innovative, evidence-based, integrated dietetic and psychological pathway for adults with coeliac disease and implement it within NHS settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and advisory panel to design and develop the pathway.
  • Coordinate project activities, including participant recruitment and qualitative data collection.
  • Analyse data and develop implementation plans for the pathway.
  • Share the findings with NHS teams, academics, and members of the public. Write manuscripts, reports, and deliver presentations.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a clinically relevant project and enhance your research skills under the guidance of experienced investigators.

We welcome applications from candidates interested in developing a career in long-term conditions or with a specific interest in health psychology. This position is available for job sharing and hybrid working arrangements.
