This is an exciting opportunity to work with the School of Computing and support their ambitious plans for growth and development.

Working within Technology Operations in the University's IT department, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the effective delivery of all aspects of IT and ensuring that IT provision meets the current and future needs of both academic unit colleagues and students.

Working a minimum of 60% on campus in Newcastle City centre, the focus of your work will centre on:

  • Ensuring IT services are effective, and stakeholders receive a high quality of support.
  • Applying your technical knowledge to exploit opportunities for improvement and co-ordinating the delivery of new IT infrastructure and services.
  • Balancing the need for economy, efficiency, and effectiveness in the planning and delivery of IT services.
