Development Administrator/PA to Director

University of Oxford - University College, Oxford

Location: Oxford
Salary: £28,759 to £33,966 (depending on experience)
Hours: Full Time
Contract Type: Permanent
Placed On: 12th June 2024
Closes: 1st July 2024

University College (Univ), Oxford is seeking a highly organised and self-motivated Administrator / PA to work in our friendly, supportive, and successful Development and Communications Office. It is an exciting time to be a part of this progressive fundraising and alumni relations team and to play a key role during our 775th Anniversary year in 2024.

You will manage a wide range of activities enabling the smooth running of the office, including gift processing, administration for meetings, liaising with our American Friends organisation and donor thanking. If you’re looking for a stimulating and varied role, where each day is different, then this role would be perfect for you.

Ideally, you will be an adaptable all-rounder, who likes to work as part of a team, and who can focus and work well independently. The role is integral to the Development team and is essentially the administrative anchor in the office. You will also bring your expertise to bear in organising the Director’s busy schedule, as well as supporting your colleagues in general on a day-to-day basis. Your communication and interpersonal skills will allow you to build effective relationships at all levels, whilst maintaining appropriate confidentiality as required.

You will be confident in the use of standard office technology, as well as be happy to learn to use specific systems if necessary.

We offer a generous holiday allowance, free lunch, health insurance, employee assistance programme, among other benefits.
