Project Manager
Following the successful return to REF21, the School of Science, Engineering and Environment (SSEE) is preparing for the next submission with an exciting opportunity for a fixed term Project Manager (Maternity Cover).
The successful candidate will be required to manage and proactively deliver a range of projects and will play a key role in supporting SSEE and the wider University towards the next REF submission.
We are looking for an exceptional communicator, who is able to liaise with key stakeholders across the university and is able to operate both independently and as part of a team.
This role will have a focus on research-led activity within SSEE and will include a variety of tasks including developing, coordinating and support the activities of the SSEE towards a REF28 return. You will be expected to work independently to take the lead role in establishing and managing project delivery. Monitoring and reporting will be required to engage with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
Successful applicants will have experience of project management, ideally in the context of higher education. They will be expected to lead on all aspects of project management, communications, evaluation, dissemination, and project development work.
