This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months.
The Extended Education Unit is a highly successful and commercially driven team that delivers LSE’s open enrolment short courses and distance learning degree programmes, spanning from new undergraduates to senior working professionals. Our programmes make a major contribution to LSE’s revenue.
We are seeking an Events and Student Experience Manager with experience of delivering high-quality, large-scale event programmes and negotiating and managing a significant budget. The successful post-holder will devise, plan, and oversee a programme of dynamic events appealing to a broad range of international students and professionals.
This exciting role is a key part of the department and will focus on two key areas. Firstly, managing and developing the events programme for the LSE Summer School, which attracts more than 8000 students from around the world to campus each year. Secondly, creating a new portfolio of events for LSE Executive Education and LSE Online programme to help support the recruitment of participants onto the programme and engage our professional alumni network.
