We are seeking to appoint a full-time Programme Administration Manager (Distance Learning) within the Programme Administration Office (PAO).
You will lead a team of Programme Administrator(s) to provide support for the School’s distance learning master’s programmes and report to the Head of PAO and the Deputy Head of Distance Learning and will work closely with the Faculty Taught Programme Director. You will also work closely with programme directors and module organisers both within and outside of their faculty.
You will ensure the delivery of a professional, effective and efficient customer-facing support service for students, staff and external stakeholders and will be expected to work closely with the other Programme Administration Managers to optimise staff resources and provide cover as required. You will be responsible for developing and reviewing operating procedures, financial processes and budget monitoring, and providing support to Faculty and School committees and working groups.
You must have experience in providing proactive administrative support for taught programmes in higher education and have a proven ability to manage others’ workloads. Strong organisational, excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills are essential. Further particulars are included in the job description.
The post is full-time 35 hours per week,1.0 FTE and permanent.
The salary will be on the Professional Services salary scale, Grade 5 in the range £38,282 - £43,947 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London.
