We have an exciting opportunity to support the planning and implementation of strategic HR projects relating to engaging people on the most appropriate contractual employment arrangements and to provide meaningful data to inform the project's decision making.

Reporting to the HR Strategic Lead of Workforce Planning, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Working with key stakeholders to develop and implement project plans to deliver project and organisational objectives, including the early identification of risks and mitigations.
  • Interrogate, collate, query, analyse and manage data from a wide range of sources (e.g. HR internal systems, Data Marts, Qualtrics and other analytic tools) to provide statistics, reports and information to key stakeholders.
  • Advise on HR issues and employment law relating to contract types and status, to assist with problem solving and the co-development of pragmatic solutions that are operationally viable within Departments.
  • Support the promotion of cultural change in departments as to how they engage their workforce by providing data analysis, charts and HR advice on impact and alternative approaches, etc.
  • Input into communications to inform, engage and update stakeholders such as committee papers, briefing notes, presentations etc.
  • Line manager the Project Co-ordinator role within the project team.

What you will need:

  • HR generalist with experience in the application of employment law, contract types, HR policies and organisational change.
  • Significant experience of working with compiling, analysing, interpreting large and complex data sets (quantitative and qualitative) to produce meaningful reports, charts and graphs using Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience of planning, coordinating and implementing complex projects.
  • Strong communication skills and well-developed presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and to influence at all levels.
  • Ideally you will be educated to a degree level or equivalent qualification or quantifiable experience.
