Greater Manchester Business School is undergoing a transformation to an applied model and has ambitious plans to continue to grow our student numbers and develop new programmes with employability at the heart. We deliver a range of business and accountancy programmes at all levels, from foundation and undergraduate to Masters and Higher level research degrees.
As a result we are looking for a number of Lecturer's to Join our team.
Applications would be particularly welcomed in the following specialisms: marketing (including digital marketing), data analytics, sustainability, entrepreneurship and supply chain management.
The roles will support our wide portfolio of business and accounting courses. We are an applied Business School with a focus on equipping students to add value from day one in industry and we follow ‘teaching intensive, research informed’ principles .
We are looking for staff who want to bring the latest practices in business onto our courses and are using up to date research.
Registration with an appropriate professional body is desirable along with appropriate degree qualification (First Degree, Masters and/or PhD) and preferably a teaching qualification DBA and membership of the Higher Education Academy. Where you do not have a PhD/DBA, a commitment to undertaking a PhD/DBA once in post is a requirement of our full-time roles.
Candidates with significant industry experience are particularly welcomed.
Successful candidates will need to demonstrate up to date awareness of current developments within their specialist area as well as being able to nurture links between courses and real-life businesses.
