Role Description
The Department of Computer Science at the University of York is looking for a research fellow (with a PhD or equivalent experience), to investigate and develop approaches that bridge CWA and OWA systems. The work will be done in the context of an industry-research collaboration between researchers in the Automated Software Engineering research group at York (Dr. Antonio García-Domínguez and Prof. Dimitris Kolovos) and key players in the UK defence industry (BAE Systems and Leonardo).

Research Environment
You will join a large and internationally leading team who specialises in AI and software engineering, with a substantial research track record and success at delivering research results as part of big, collaborative research projects. The team includes five permanent members of academic staff, eight research associates/fellows, and 11 PhD students. The team is highly supportive and encourages cross-project collaboration, especially on joint publications and the development of new research projects.
Project Duration: The post is available on a fixed-term basis until 28 November 2025.
