We have an exciting opportunity for a 8 month Fixed Term Contract within the Quality and Standards Team. The team are responsible for overseeing quality assurance and enhancement processes in relation to academic areas of the University’s activities.
The role holder will have a leading role in the management of quality and standards processes for on site programmes, working closely with academic and professional services colleagues across the University. They will guide academic staff through key activities such as programme and module modification, revalidation, validation and annual monitoring. There may also be the opportunity to be involved in external accreditation processes for specific programmes and to support other team members on the Curriculum Management Project when necessary.
To be successful, you should have experience in building relationships with academic and professional services staff and should have an awareness of the regulatory environment e.g. an understanding of the role of the QAA, OfS and CMA. Experience of Quality and Standards is not essential, as further training can be provided.
